…you know, my initial instinct is to say ‘yes.’ I don’t think I’m judged on the way I look…but according to others, I am. I’ve actually had Josh tell people ‘take a picture, it’ll last longer’ when I didn’t even realize anyone was looking at me.
This is what makes the occasional ‘oh you only dress that way to get a reaction’ so aggravating, because no…if people are reacting, I’m not really noticing it.

D’awwww I think I could watch this forever.

But it’s fucking worth it, that’s the bit to remember.

Finally got some (fairly crappy) pics of the kittens. Junior and Spider above, Fat Charlie below. Fourth kitten remains unnamed and unphotographed, because she was hiding under the bar.
Pretty much what is happening on my front porch right now.

ID acquired. Finally.
Walked from Garfield to Paramount, about a mile and a half, in blazing heat. Didn’t seem like a big deal at the time but now I’m sore as fuck and utterly drained.
Got a new sketchbook. Think I’m going to start using Artist’s Loft sketchbooks as journals always now, just stick stuff on the covers to tell them apart. They’re cheap and lend themselves to the sort of randomness I’ve come to love.
Going to take a long hot shower, listen to my joints pop fantastically, ramble on LJ a bit then collapse with Supernatural.
Life is pretty fucking okay.
Gaga’s new outfit for “Just Dance”, which replaces the piano dress seen on the tour’s promotional poster.
The singer chose to wear the first of six looks especially made for the worldwide tour last night in Hong Kong. The “Born this Way Ball” Tour took off April 27th in Seoul, continued on to Hong Kong, and will be followed by Tokyo, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and finally Europe and the U.S. “Heart Attack Look” – Flounced taffeta cape and sequined purple bikini with the use of Moschino symbols Peace and Love. The look is completed with a giant helmet in the shape of a heart.
…outfit? Is no one else seeing the FUCKING CASTLE?
(I’ll get over it eventually, but this is the first pic I’ve seen that really shows it off well.)

No one listens, pry those fuckers off yourself.
This blog really bothers me and I’m failing at articulating why.
The Cyclus Pangolin Backpack is a good example of what great designers can achieve using materials overlooked by everyone else, the unique backpack is made from truck tire inner tubes, making it at once both waterproof and remarkably resilient.
waaaanttt snazzy baaggg
…huh. I despise backpacks, but I always sort of wish I didn’t because they’re so convenient. This, this I might actually use…

This, this right here is why, as many other problems as I may have with it, I fucking love It’s Kind of a Funny Story.

I keep trying to remind myself of this.
Everytime I see this I think ‘God that’s geeky,’ then I realize if it were Watchmen or X-Men, I would wear it in a heartbeat.

Counting Crows - Mr. Jones (1993)
One of my less favorite CC songs. But holy shit, Adam looks so young!
i don’t remember what this movie is called but i know it’s like a place where people go after they commit suicide, it’s like this nowhere town and then they go back to life..
Its called Wristcutters and its my favorite movie EVERRRRRR
This is the movie we were watching the first time I ever got stoned. It was amazing and trippy and scared the shit out of me because like, time jumped around? Or like the characters thought they were going forward but wound up back in the same spot, and I wasn’t sure if that was happening in the movie or my mind.
I never got to see the end so I put it on a few weeks after that and found it practically unwatchable. Typical, boring indie dreck. It always makes me just a tiny bit sad to see it mentioned.
